A Marysville gun dealer is facing criminal charges after a semi-automatic handgun he brought to a gun and knife show in Mount Clemens fired twice, injuring a 10-year-old girl and two women.

The Macomb County prosecutor’s office has authorized an arrest warrant against the 64-year-old dealer.

Sheriff’s Capt. John Roberts tells The Macomb Daily the gun dealer is expected to turn himself in for arraignment within the next couple of days.

The Detroit Free Press and the Times Herald of Port Huron report a customer examining the gun on Friday accidentally fired a shot from it. The gun dealer took the weapon to inspect it, and a second shot was fired.

The Detroit News says the three victims received minor injuries after they were struck with fragments from the gunshots.
